October 5, 2007 8:03 p.m. EST Leslie Tennant - AHN Contributor Jacksonville, FL (AHN) - According to police reports, a local Jacksonville, Florida mother used a gun to protect her son from bullies at a school bus stop Friday. Forty-year-old Johnna Briggs aimed her gun at a couple of students exiting the bus and asked, "Does anyone have something to say?" The mother thought the blatant use of force would end the bullying that her son claimed to experience on the school bus. Briggs has been charged with the misdemeanor of improper exhibition of a firearm.
