Lyndon Plantilla - AHN News Writer Pasay City, Philippines (AHN) - Doctors at the Pasay City General Hospital were able to stabilize the condition of an infant who was bitten by rats at home Friday night. ABS-CBN said the two-month old victim was treated with antibiotics after sustaining serious injuries on the upper and lower extremities. Losing so much blood during the attack, doctors said the infant would require blood transfusion. Juvy Estrella, the mother of the victim, has appealed for blood donors and additional support for her son's treatment. Report say the mother asked a 10-year old relative to look after the baby while she was doing laundry around nine in the evening. But when she came back, she found the infant alone with three huge rats feeding on him. The rats had exposed some bones of the infant after eating so much skin and flesh.
