Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Educational TV host, Bill Nye, sought for a restraining order against his ex-fiancée Blair Tindall.
Allegedly, Tindall tried to poison Nye through his backyard vegetable garden from where he gets his veggies.
The incident was reported to have happened in "The Science Guy's" Studio City home on September 3rd.
Nye claims that she came over dressed in black while carrying "two plastic bottles filled with some sort of solvent."
Tindall did admit to having emptied two bottles of weed killer unto the garden. She admits that after serious problems regarding the validity of their marriage led her to do "a foolish, sophomoric act of poor judgment that was only intended to harm flowers, and certainly not people."
The two were wed in 2006 by pastor and author of "The Purpose-Driven Life" Rev. Rick Warren. However, after the married couple moved in to their $1million home in Studio City, it was discovered that their marriage was indeed valid and Tindall was made to move out by Nye.
A court hearing is scheduled for December 20.
