Matthew McConaughey: New D&G Man

New York, NY (CNS) - Dolce and Gabbana might be secretive with the details on its upcoming new scent for men but word has spread that actor Matthew McConaughey will be representing the scent.

The designers chose McConaughey to star in the fragrance's ads. Jean-Baptiste Mondino directs the commercial. The fashion photographer/music video director and the actor were spotted shooting together at the Rue de Castiglione in Paris last September.

The Failure To Launch star is expected to be on hand when the fragrance is shown to select editors at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Tuesday. He will then join Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in a dinner the designers are hosting.

McConaughey is currently dating Brazilian model Camila Alves. He was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2005. It had also been reported in 2006 that he admits to not using colognes or deodorants because he doesn't want to smell like someone else.
