Eileen Campos - Celebrity News Service News Writer London, England (CNS) - Travel brand Samsonite will be livening up their collection by inviting Dutch designers Rolf Snoeren and Viktor Horsting. The pieces will be part of a Black Label collection to be released in 2009. One-half of the designing team, Snoeren, had this to say, "We are working on the idea of 'happy travel' - trying to do something more na?ve and personal." He adds, "A lot of luggage is very technical and impersonal - it's a challenge." The pieces will include beauty cases, boarding bags and travel totes in soft-edged pieces. Some of the expected pieces will be in true form to Viktor and Rolf like violin-shaped or Russian doll-shaped bags. The luggage will be available to the public by spring of 2009. The collection will feature designs for men and women. Viktor and Rolf first came into the scene with their performance art in Paris. Ten years later, they have experienced the success of their menswear and fragrances.
