December 3, 2007 5:37 a.m. EST Sally Grover - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Jennifer Love Hewitt is not taking fat taunts about her body lightly. The former "Party Of Five" actress has responded to recent criticism over her feminine figure after pictures of her in a bikini were splashed across magazines around the world. Hewitt, who recently became engaged and was celebrating with fiancé Ross McCall in Hawaii, experienced every woman's worst nightmare when unflattering angels of her frolicking in a two-piece were printed for the world to see. However, the 28-year-old star has responded to the mean spirited comments, saying that she is not fat just because she isn't a size zero. Hewitt wrote on her official blog, "Like all women out there should, I love my body. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image." Hewitt, who is currently starring in "The Ghost Whisperer", added, "A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful...To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong."
