Brody Denies Romance With Co-Star Lauren Conrad

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - It seems that what happens on "The Hills", stays on "The Hills".

Brody Jenner has denied that he is romancing his 'reality TV' co-star Lauren 'LC' Conrad, despite story lines on the hit MTV show that show the two young stars on dates.

The reality veteran - who also appears on "Keeping Up With The Kardishians" and starred in "Princes Of Malibu" - was introduced to "The Hills" story line via a 'relationship' with LC.

However, Brody told PEOPLE, "There's nothing romantic-it's never really been like that. I love Lauren. She is a great friend of mine."

"The Hills" popularity has not suffered despite murmurs that it is scripted drama. The show about twenty-somethings starting out in L.A. has been promoted as a real-life account.

The show is a spin-off from "Laguna Beach".

Brody has previously dated Nicole Richie.
