New York, NY (CNS) - Ghost Rider actress Eva Mendes is the newest star to bare it all for the animals. The 32-year-old Latina is PETA's latest celebrity to strip naked for their "I'd Rather Go Naked" ad campaigns.
Mendes says she had ignorantly worn fur before but a letter from the animal rights activists changed her view. "[PETA wrote a] beautiful letter to comment on my less-than-educated choice. I was so impressed that I vowed to them and to myself to never wear real fur again."
Meanwhile, police are requesting the activists not to reveal too much information about the launch of their poster. They fear it might cause a "mob scene."
The ads were shot by renowned photographer Dan Flood and will be unveiled by Mendes herself in Rockefeller Plaza on Thursday.
PETA is acronym for People for Ethical Treatment of Animals, an organization promoting animal welfare and rights.
