December 26, 2007 4:12 p.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer London, England (CNS) - Singer Dannii Minogue is going to be a TV star. The X Factor judge is set to play a part in the spin-off series of Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sun claims. The 36-year-old Minogue is being tipped off for an appearance in the spin-off after older sister Kylie played feisty waitress Astrid in Dr. Who's Christmas special, where she kissed the Doctor but was killed off soon after she saved Tennant's life. Actor John Barrowman says Dannii would be a huge addition to the series. Barrowman plays the bisexual time traveler, Captain Jack. "I'd love it if Dannii appeared in Torchwood. She has an edge and I know she's a fan of the show," Barrowman told the paper. In addition to this reported new role, Minogue is also expected to continue to coach young singing talents on The X Factor next year.
