Philippines Seize Sex Dolls To Be Used By Rights Group For Protest

Manila, Philippines (AHN) - The Philippines Bureau of Customs officials have seized several inflatable sex dolls to be used in an international campaign against animal cruelty, an animal rights group claimed Thursday.

According to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or PETA, they planned to use the sex toys to protest against a major U.S. fast food chain who allegedly abuse chickens.

PETA said the dolls have toured in different Asian countries such as Thailand, Japan and the red light districts of the Philippines with a banner reading, "KFC Blows."

The group said that the dolls were confiscated by Customs officials when they arrived in the Philippines through a U.S.-based parcel service.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Philippine representatives and Customs officials who confiscated the sex toys were not available to comment.

PETA said they are conducting their own independent investigation that KFC chicken suppliers often abuse chickens, allegedly scalding them to death and cutting off their beaks while they were still alive.

However, the U.S. firm has already dismissed the case.
