Islamabad, Pakistan (AHN) - Facing pressure over the killing of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto Rawalpindi, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has agreed to consider international help to probe the assassination.

According to Geo News, Musharraf has conveyed this willingness to accept help to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown when the two leaders spoke Sunday by telephone.

Brown also offered help to Musharraf in investigating Bhutto's death.

Both the leaders spoke as Bhutto's husband Asif Ali Zardari called for a probe by the United Nations into the assassination of his wife. Zardari also said he would seek the British government's help in this regard, reports NDTV.

Prime Minister Brown also urged Musharraf not to delay the parliament polls scheduled for Jan. 8.
