Manchester, NH (AHN) - As Democrats, Republicans and undecideds head to the polls in New Hampshire, reports from elections staff at polling places say the voter turnout for the 2008 primary will be "huge."

"Turnout is absolutely huge and towns are starting to get concerned that they may not have enough ballots. We are working on those issues. Everything else seems to be going smoothly," New Hampshire Deputy Secretary of State Dave Scanlan told ABC.

The Secretary of State's office has already begun sending out extra ballots to several counties. According to New Hampshire Secretary of State William Gardner, two-thirds of the Granite State's estimated 150,000 undeclared voters will likely chose to vote in the Democratic primary, as opposed to the Republican primary. In New Hampshire, a voter who has yet to declare their political affiliation can select which primary to participate in when they reach the polls.
