February 1, 2008 3:30 p.m. EST Kris Alingod - AHN News Writer Boston, MA (AHN) - The Democratic race in Massachusetts is lopsided in favor of Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), just days away before primaries are held in the delegate-rich state, while among Republican hopefuls former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is the most popular. Clinton leads rival Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) 57 to 33 percent. Seven percent of voters surveyed said they supported other candidates and 10 percent said they had not made up their minds. Romney leads rivals with 57 points, followed by McCain with 34 points, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) with 3 percent each. One percent said they supported other candidates and 2 percent were undecided. SurveyUSA interviewed 575 likely Democratic primary voters and 297 likely Republican primary voters on January 30. margin of error for Democrats is 4.1 percentage points and 5.7 for Republicans.
