Sunnyvale, CA (AHN) - Yahoo's board of directors reportedly will meet today to decide whether to accept Microsoft's $44 billion takeover bid. Earlier this week, Yahoo's CEO e-mailed employees to assure the company was exploring all options.

Despite the lack of a decision, bloggers were commenting on Yahoo's choices and handicapping whether the Internet company would accept the software giant's bail-out.

Michael Arrington, who runs the tech blog TechCrunch, wrote Friday to either accept Microsoft's general offer and bargain for better terms, or go with Google's plan for sharing advertising revenue.

Internet giant Google has offered Yahoo a way to gain much-needed financing by guaranteeing advertising revenue. However, the Mountain View, Calif.-based company sparred with Microsoft last weekend. The companies charged acquiring Yahoo could present antitrust concerns.
