Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - The science-fiction thriller "Jumper" was on top of the box office list over the long weekend. The 20th Century Fox film starring Hayden Christensen is about a man who can teleport himself anywhere while a mysterious agent, played by Samuel L. Jackson, is on his trail. "Jumper" opened on Valentine's Day and brought in close to $40 million over the Presidents Day weekend. Running a close second was the Disney film "Step Up 2 the Streets," a sequel to summer 2006's sleeper hit "Step Up," with about $29 million in sales. Coming in third place was the Paramount Pictures' family fantasy "The Spiderwick Chronicles" which had about $27 million in box office sales for what the movie industry calls a five-day weekend.
