Kris Alingod - AHN News Writer Austin, TX (AHN) - Pollsters are predicting a close race in the delegate-rich state of Texas on March 4. The InsiderAdvantage says Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has a slight lead over Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), while the Texas Credit Union League shows former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee tying with the presumptive party nominee for first place. Clinton leads Obama in the state, 48 percent to 41 percent, according to a new InsiderAdvantage poll. Undecided voters accounted for 11 percent. The results are based on interviews of 403 likely primary voters in Texas on February 14. Margin of error is 5 percentage points. On the Republican side, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Huckabee are statistically deadlocked with 45 percent and 41 percent, respectively. Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) was in last place with 6 percent. The Republican poll is based on a survey of 400 likely Republican primary voters from February 11 through February 13. Its margin of error is 4.9 percentage points. Texas has 228 Democratic and 140 Republican delegates at stake.
