Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Grammy-winning singer-songwriter John Mayer has hand picked the opening acts for his national summer tour. Mayer is taking Colbie Caillat and Brett Dennen along for his summer tour ride which will begin in July.

Both Caillat and Dennan, California-bred folk pop artists, were part of Mayer's Mayercraft Carrier last month, a three-day cruise to the Bahamas. The cruise was designed to give fans a more intimate experience with Mayer.

Last year on Mayer's "Continuum" tour, fans were treated to a surprise when the opening acts would join Mayer during his show. It is expected that his concert tour this year will offer Caillat and Dennen the same opportunities.
