March 7, 2008 8:02 p.m. EST Bill Lumpkin - AHN Editor Palm Bay Harbor, FL (AHN) - John Daly found him a new caddy/coach for the final seven holes of the rain-delayed PODS Championship on Thursday. After a two-and-a-hour rain delay, Daly had Tampa Bay head football coach Jon Gruden on his bag for the next seven holes before the round was finally suspended for darkness. Daly was 3-over at the turn when he hooked up with Gruden. Said Daly, "He fires you up." Gruden stayed in the background. He didn't help reading the putts, usually staying more than 20 yards short of the green. Regular caddie Peter Van Der Riet was back on the bag on Friday.
