March 14, 2008 10:52 a.m. EST Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Kenneth Cole may only be trying to sell shoes, but in keeping with their traditional method of advertising, their new ad campaign also sends out a different message. The new Kenneth Cole advertising campaign "The Non-Uniform Thinking" series features real people with extraordinary experiences. Model and athlete Aimee Millins, who was born with a condition that requires her to wear prosthetic limbs, is featured in one of the ads. The ad shows a slender Millins wearing a short black skirt and heels with her knees showing and her prosthetic limbs exposed. Her ad reads "We All Walk in Different Shoes." Some of the other ads include a gay married couple and their daughter and one features the HIV-positive editor-in-chief of POZ Magazine.
