March 16, 2008 7:46 a.m. EST Jojo Doria - AHN Orlando, FL (AHN) - Tiger Woods came charging back erasing a seven-point deficit yesterday to tie for the lead entering the final round of the U.S. PGA Tour's Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. Woods, who was behind seven shots of leading Vijay Singh at the start of the day, sunk six birdies resulting in a four-under par 66 completely evaporating Singh's overnight lead. Singh was duly punished as he dropped five strokes in four holes on the front nine. Sharing top spot with the Fijian and Woods on six-under are Sean O'Hair, Bart Bryant and Bubba Watson. Bryant and Watson both carded rounds of 68, while O'Hair, who won the PODS Championship last weekend, hit the lowest round of the tournament Not far behind the leaders is Hunter Mahan who is with is a stroke at 5-under, followed by Nick Watney, Tom Lehman, Cliff Kresge, Lee Westwood and Ken Duke at 4-under par. Woods, 32, has won his last four starts on the PGA Tour and in one European Tour event. He is seeking his 64th career U.S. PGA Tour victory, which would tie Ben Hogan for third all time.
