Lorrie Ramirez - Celebrity News Service Lorie Ramirez, CNS Writer Chicago, IL (CNS) - The British newest singing sensation, Leona Lewis got her big break in the United States when she sang on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday. Lewis, 22, who is also the winner of X-Factor, a talent show produced by Simon Cowell, has broken all-time sales record in the United Kingdom. When she belted out the song "Bleeding Love," Oprah told her: "You're the real deal girl," and received a standing ovation from the studio audience. "Talk about a star is born," was Oprah's reaction to Lewis' performance. Simon Cowell, who made Lewis' debut on American TV possible, said that he has been dying to launch his protégé in the States. "I love this girl," he adds.
