March 20, 2008 10:58 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Renee Zellweger was eager to work with George Clooney. The "Bridget Jones's Diary" star says she did not have a second thought when she was asked to be the "Ocean's 13" actor's leading lady in "Leatherheads." She says, "It was a no-brainer. I heard George was making a movie and I said, 'When?'" The 38-year-old actress had been rumored to have a romantic relationship with Clooney, which they both denied saying they were just really good friends. Zellweger continues, "If he had asked me to make peanut-butter sandwiches for the catering, I would have said 'crunchy or smooth?' It's never less than great with him." "Sometimes people ask, 'Don't you miss your home?' Well, no. I go to work with George Clooney or Harry Connick. So, not so much." "Leatherheads" is a romantic comedy set in the 1920s centering on professional football. The film, which also stars John Krasinski, is scheduled to be released on April 4.
