Mayur Pahilajani - AHN News Writer Bogota, Colombia (AHN) - Colombia has confirmed that a military raid in Ecuadorean territory also killed a citizen of Ecuador. The raid was carried out to attack on a Revolutionary Armed Forced of Colombia (FARC) rebel base on Ecuadorian territory three weeks ago, when at least 20 rebels were killed. "When it is confirmed, we will take appropriate action," the president said in a statement on his Web site, according to CNN News. Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa had warned before that if the news regarding death of Franklin Aisalia, an Ecuadorian, was proved to be true then it would severe all the diplomatic ties with Colombia. Colombia's Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos, confirming the death of the Ecuadorian by his alias name Lucho, said that he was considered as a member of the FARC who helped the rebels to hide inside the neighboring state.
