March 24, 2008 11:32 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Britney Spears' costumes on "How I Met Your Mother" will be auctioned off for charity. At least 6 items from the "Toxic" singer's guest appearance on the CBS sitcom is set to benefit the Natural Resources Defense council. The auction will begin right after her episode on Monday, according to Associated Press. The items will include a navy print Juicy Couture dress, a yellow Nannette Lepore dress and a cream Nannette Lepore cardigan with blue flower details, all of which Spears had worn during shooting. The show's producer sponsored the sale. Spears plays Abby, a nerdy receptionist with a huge crush on the show's main character Ted (played by Josh Radnor). While the show's stars praised the singer's comedic timing, Spears had also expressed her joy at working on the set. She had said, " I'm having a blast. Working at 'How I Met Your Mother' has been so terrific. Everyone has been wonderful."
