March 26, 2008 8:05 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - George Clooney isn't turning into a fashion designer. Contrary to reports claiming the "Ocean's 13" star is launching his own fashion line, the actor denies he will venture the fashion industry saying it is just a hoax. Fashion website Women's Wear Daily had received an email claiming the 46-year-old A-list star was about to launch his own clothing brand called "GC Exclusive by George Clooney." The email read: "The Company 'GC Exclusive by George Clooney' is news [sic] company in Italy (Milan) for the production and distribution and international of the brand 'George Clooney.' Luxury clothing for men and women. Luxury fashion accessories." "Invitation open to all journalists and TV. Invited? Only important people and celebrities." Clooney has released a statement through his rep Stan Rosenfield denying the email. The statement reads: "This is a HOAX. I have no connection whatsoever with any clothing line bearing my name, and more specifically GC EXCLUSIVE by George Clooney."
