March 26, 2008 2:38 p.m. EST Buddy Shacklette - AHN Motor Sports Reporter Indianapolis, IN (AHN) - A total of 18 drivers and 19 cars are testing their Cooper Tires Presents The Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda machinery at MSR Houston this week. The test began Tuesday and continues through today on the 2.8-mile road course near Houston, Texas in preparation for the season-opening Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 18-20. Dane Cameron, quickest of Spring Training at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, is back in the cockpit of the No. 17 Genoa Racing machine and is joined by Atlantic veteran Alan Sciuto, who's piloting Genoa's No. 27. Forsythe Racing Inc. teammates James Hinchcliffe and David Garza, who topped the speed charts at the Sebring test are also at MSR Houston with Hinchcliffe wheeling the No. 3 entry and Garza in the No. 7. Jonathan Bomarito has joined forces with Mathiasen Motorsports and is driving the team's No. 26 machine while Finnish rookie Markus Niemela is wheeling the No. 8 Brooks Associates Racing machine. German driver Andreas Wirth is aboard the No. 88 entry for Brooks Associates Racing. Walker Racing has English rookies Greg and Leo Mansell, sons of 1992 Formula 1 World Champion and 1993 IndyCar World Series champion Nigel Mansell, driving the team's No. 5 and No. 15 entries, respectively.
