March 26, 2008 7:21 p.m. EST Norman Vergara - AHN Sports Writer Tokyo, Japan (AHN) - Outfielder Brandon Moss, one of two Red Sox's heroes that keyed Boston's 6-5 10th-inning win on Wednesday, has been sent to the minors at Triple-A Pawtucket after the club lost to Oakland in the second game of a season-opening series played in Japan. Moss made it to the lineup because erstwhile starter J.D. Drew is battling back problems. With the veteran now reporting problem-free, the Red Sox have no option but to send back Moss to the minors, where he batted .282 and led Pawtucket with 16 homers. The 24-year-old Moss finished 2-for-8 in the A's series and in the first game, hit a solo homer that tied the game in the ninth inning. Manny Ramirez then hit a two-run double in the 10th that won it for the Red Sox. The A's avenged that loss on Wednesday 5-1 after getting a three-hit, one-run production in six innings from Rich Harden.
