Margaret River, Australia (AHN) - An Australian entrepreneur announced that he will be constructing a replica of the historic Stonehenge, to be erected on his piece of land in Margaret River.

The structure, according to entrepreneur Ross Smith, will be accessible to people who would want to come near it.

Smith said that it would also feature a children's playground.

According to ANI, the site would also be a welcome venue for weddings and other events. It would most probably be a business venture, instead of an actual recreation of a mystical structure for sentimental, and historical reasons.

"Nowhere in the world has a complete Stonehenge been built," said Smith, as quoted by the Telegraph.

According to reports, the construction of what would be called The Henge had begun, with quarry workers having spent five months shaping the stones that would make up the structure.

The entire project, which Smith hopes to be finished by the December 21, the summer solstice, will involve the arrangement of 101 granite stones into an inner circle, an outer circle, and a central altar, just like the original.

The project costs about $1,400,000.
