Tennis Star Andy Roddick Engaged To Swimsuit Model

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Tennis star Andy Roddick is familiar with love, after all it's a score in tennis. Roddick is involved in a different kind of love right now, the kind that made him propose. Roddick has popped the question to girlfriend Brooklyn Decker, a model who has appeared in the "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit edition.

The couple began dating in 2007 when Roddick, 25, asked his agent to track down a number for Decker, 20. Decker's rep has confirmed the engagement.

Roddick is known in the tennis world for his powerful serves. As of November 2007, he was ranked as the top American tennis player and sixth best player in the world.

He became a Grand Slam singles champion when he won the 2003 U.S. Open title. He has made it to three other Grand Slam finals, Wimbledon twice and the U.S. Open once, losing to Roger Federer each time.
