Adam Sandler Breaks Ankle Playing Basketball

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Funny man Adam Sandler wasn't laughing after his basketball game this weekend. The star broke his ankle during the game, although he still managed to win the game. Sandler is currently filming the Walt Disney Picture film "Bedtime Stories," but his ankle should not affect production of the movie.

The media learned about the ankle break from a statement sent to the Associated Press by Sandler's representative.

Sandler has starred in "Happy Gilmore" and "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." In his new film "Bedtime Stories," Sandler plays a hotel handyman whose bedtime stories magically come true. The film is due out later this year.
