Eva Mendes Feeling Better And Enjoying Family And Life

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Actress Eva Mendes spent several weeks in rehab for "personal issues" and after leaving the facility said she is happy, relaxed, exercising and taking good care of herself. The actress entered Utah's Cirque Lodge earlier this year for what her rep called "outside professional support."

The actress attended a luncheon at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Tuesday co-hosted by Fresh Cosmetics and the new clothing line Rose. She talked to People.com and said, "The sun's out again. It's my time."

The 34-year-old actress said the last three years have been crazy for her but she was taking some time now to spend with her family, go to the gym and enjoy herself. "I feel grounded. I feel really good," she said.

The actress also said she is feeling fine in the love department. She is in a longtime relationship with producer George Gargurevich.

Mendes said she maintains her sexy shape by sticking to an exercise schedule of working out four times a week with trainer Harley Pasternak and doing cardio and light weights.
