Chace Crawford Surviving After Breakup With Carrie Underwood

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford hasn't been having a good week. First, the star broke up with singer Carrie Underwood and then he had to endure online speculation about his sexuality. His family said the star will get through it and wishes both Chace and Underwood well.

Chace's sister, Candice Crawford, spoke to People.com about the breakup and said her brother is "doing okay through this whole ordeal. He was upset about the breakup. It's always hard when you lose a relationship."

Chace will have something to focus on, however, as sister Candice is about the compete in the Miss USA Pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino next week. Candice, who is the reigning Miss Missouri, said her brother and the rest of the family will be in the audience as she competes for the title.
