Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Bobby Brown has written a tell-all autobiography about his life, and his marriage to pop singer Whitney Houston, and the book doesn't speak positively about Houston. Excerpts from the book, "Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But," began surfacing Thursday and in them Brown blames Houston for many of his drug problems.

The excerpts, which were printed in the New York Post, talks about his 14-year marriage to Houston. The couple, who have a 15-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, split in September 2006 following a long-running marital feud.

Brown says in the book that his dependence on drugs spiraled out of control once he married Houston. He also says he never used cocaine until after he met Houston.

Houston, on the other hand, isn't responding to the book's accusations. Whitney's rep responded in a statement to People.com that, "Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he need to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it's to set the record straight."
