Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "High School Musical 3" hasn't even hit the theaters yet, but that isn't stopping the Disney Channel folks from working on a sequel, to the sequel, to the sequel. Yes, plans are in the works for a "High School Musical 4."

Disney Channel Worldwide president Rich Ross said on Tuesday they are writing a script for "High School Musical 4."

"It's likely to be a TV movie unlike 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year,' though that could change," he said.

Ross said he doesn't think all of the cast will return for the next movie, but hopes that some of them will. The movie has made stars out of some of the cast including Zac Efron, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu.

Ross said some new characters will be introduced in the movie that is coming to the big screen, and those new characters may appear in the fourth movie.
