Johnny Depp To Marry Longtime Girlfriend

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Johnny Depp is getting married. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star is reportedly set to marry longtime partner Vanessa Paradis on June 14.

Sources say that Depp, 44, has changed his mind about marriage when his lover and mother of his children suddenly wanted to get married. He used to say that they don't feel the need to walk down the aisle to make their relationship official.

He had been quoted to say, "For all intents and purposes, we are married. [But] if [Vanessa] ever said, 'Hey, let's get hitched,' I would do it in a second."

And Paradis, 35, apparently wants to get married now.

A source close to the star says, "Vanessa recently told Johnny that she would love to have a wedding. Johnny loves Vanessa very much, and he said if that's what would make her happy, then he'd marry her."

The wedding is going to be a low-key family affair and the children, Lily Rose, 8, and Jack, 8, are "really excited about it."

The source continues to Life and Style magazine, "Actually the whole family is excited."

They are said to be sending out invitations in a few weeks.
