April 14, 2008 3:43 p.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Victoria Beckham's dVb denim line has been dropped from Fred Segal and Kitson's shops due to poor sales. According to Kitson's owner Fraser Ross, Posh Spice's reluctance to promote her own line is the main reason why her fashion ranger isn't doing too well with the American market. Ross tells News Of The World, "We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn't. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell." Beckham had said she was totally hands-on on her brand when she launched the line. She said, "I want everything to be perfect. I'm not just a celebrity with a licensing deal. There isn't a single rivet or button that goes on a pair of jeans that I haven't designed or tested myself."
