Julie Farby - AHN Reporter (AHN) - Pope Benedict XVI has arrived in New York on Friday, marking the second major stop on his U.S. tour. Upon his arrival at Kennedy Airport, Benedict was met by Mayor Bloomberg. The pope met Catholic leaders and held a mass during his time in Washington D.C. He also sat down with President George W. Bush. The pope will address the United Nations General Assembly, and celebrate mass Sunday morning at Yankee Stadium in New York. AHN Writer Danielle George contributed to this report.
