April 22, 2008 1:09 p.m. EST Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Velvet Revolver is looking for a new front man. The band is going to turn to the Internet and hold online auditions to replace troubled singer Scott Weiland, who left the band earlier this month. Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash told Billboard that the band is talking about building a Web site in the next month and doing auditions through it. Slash added, "We're at that point of just listening to different things. It's one of those situations where you can't really explain it to anybody because you'll know it when you hear it. So, I'm waiting to get that feeling of, 'Yeah, that's it.'" The band has an upcoming Las Vegas show and the guitarist said the band will work with several well-known people who will take turns singing during the show. He said right now he doesn't have anyone in mind for the open position.
