April 24, 2008 10:44 a.m. EST Carlo Gahol - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - A sore throat seems to be a recurring illness for some of America's current crop of vocal talents. After "American Idol" champ Jordin Sparks canceled her concert tour dates with Alicia Keys due to throat problems, her headlining partner also pulled the plug on two of her concerts after experiencing vocal strain. Keys canceled her shows in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Cleveland, Ohio because of swollen vocal chords, according to her official website aliciakeys.com. Ticket holders of the canceled shows may contact the respective venues for further instructions. Those with tickets for the Cleveland concert can be honored in the Columbus, Ohio show set for Saturday, as advised by Key's record company. Keys, 27, is already being treated by doctors and she is expected to perform on Saturday's show. The U.S. leg tour of the Grammy-winning artist is in support of her third release, the worldwide certified multi-platinum album "As I Am."
