April 26, 2008 7:25 a.m. EST Jojo Doria - AHN Brasilia, Brazil (AHN) - Sau Paolo's soccer team, Corinthians, announced Friday that they are sending midfielder Heverton to the Bahian soccer team, Vitoria, for the Brasileiro championships. "Heverton wants to play. However, there hasn't been any room on the team for him to play as much as he would like. For this reason, we have decided to loan him to Vitoria, technical director of Corinthians, Antonio Carlos told the Xinhua. Heverton, who joined the team following a trade with the Ponte Preta soccer team in 2007, will still play in the Corinthians match against Goias next Wednesday at the Morumbi stadium in Sao Paolo.
