Britney Spears Confirmed To Return To "How I Met Your Mother"

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Britney Spears will once again be visiting the set of CBS' sitcom hit "How I Met Your Mother."

She will be reprising her role as bubbly secretary Abby in the upcoming May 12 episode.

CBS.com released a statement from Craig Thomas, the series co-creator confirming the news. Production is already underway for the aforementioned episode.

Spears' appearance on the show earned her good reviews.

In addition, the third year show got a boost in the ratings last March when Spears guested.
