Pittsburgh (AHN) -- Mario Hossa scored his second goal of the game -- this time 7:10 into overtime -- to secure a 3-2 win over the New York Rangers and to set up an all-Pennsylvania eastern conference finals with the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Rangers were bounced from the Stanley Cup playoffs Sunday in five games, thanks to the Hossa goal, which was fed by Sidney Crosby and in between the legs of New York goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who did his best to keep the Rangers in the game with 38 saves.

The Rangers had overcome a 2-0 deficit with two quick goals early in the third period by Lauri Korpiskoski and Nigel Dawes -- just 62 seconds apart.

The game was scoreless after the first period, but the Penguins grabbed a 2-0 lead in the second on goals by Hossa and Evgeni Malkin during a four-minute span.

The Rangers came back strong early in the third, tying the game on goals by Korpiskoski, who made his NHL debut, and Dawes. A high-sticking penalty call against New York's Chris Drury with 1:18 left in the third caused anxiety for the Rangers with Pittsburgh's poer play opportunity continuing into overtime.

The Penguins won the second-round series 4-1. Hossa credited Crosby with setting him up for the series-ending goal.

"Sid was driving hard to the net and it kind of bounced off him and the puck just came up to me, and I just tried to shoot at the net -- and it was a lucky one," Hossa told ESPN.
