Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "CSI" star Gary Dourdan is speaking out about his recent arrest. The star was arrested in Palm Springs last week when police discovered him asleep in his car, which was parked on the wrong side of the road. Dourdan was arrested when luggage in the car was found to allegedly contain drugs, although Dourdan is standing behind the fact that the luggage was not his. He was, however, found in possession of suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and prescription pills, police say. He posted $5,000 bail and was released. According to People.com, Dourdan said, "Obviously I am embarrassed to find myself in this situation, and I am profoundly grateful to everyone for their support. I have complete confidence in and respect for the justice system and will cooperate fully with any investigation." Over the weekend, Dourdan's luck didn't get any better as a detailed e-mail exchange between him and "Access Hollywood" host Shaun Robinson was posted on Accesshollywood.com. Robinson and Dourdan are friends. A rep for Dourdan said the e-mail was personal and not intended for release or publication.
