Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Nominations for the MTV Movie Awards were announced Tuesday, with stars such as Angelina Jolie, Zac Efron and Ellen Page all receiving nominations. The show will air June 1 on MTV and be hosted by comedian Mike Myers.

Jolie is up against Denzel Washington, Javier Bardem, Johnny Depp and others in the best villain category. The breakthrough performance award will go to actors such as Michael Cera, from "Juno," or Jonah Hill or Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

"Juno" is also up for best kiss award, giving the nod to Page and Cera for their on-screen lip-lock.

Many movies received multiple nominations, with "Superbad" leading the nominations with five, followed by "Juno" with four, and "Enchanted," "Transformers," "Knocked Up" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" all receiving three nominations.

This year fans will select the winners of the MTV golden popcorn trophies by voting online before May 23. The show will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
