Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service London, England (CNS) - British singer Amy Winehouse has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession. The 24-year-old singer was arrested Wednesday and is in police custody. According to the Associated Press, Winehouse's spokesman, Chris Goodman, said the arrest is in connection to a video that is alleged to show the award-winning singer taking drugs at a party in her north London home. In January, Britain's The Sun tabloid published still images from a video that it claimed showed Winehouse inhaling fumes from a small pipe. The images were said to have been filmed at Winehouse's London home during a party. Goodman also said in a statement that Winehouse voluntarily arrived at a London police station on Wednesday by appointment. She was then arrested in order to be interviewed and is cooperating fully with inquiries.
