Stella McCartney To Design Scarlett Johansson's Bridal Gown Without Her Consent

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Newly-engaged Scarlett Johansson need not worry about her dress on her wedding day, fashion designer Stella McCartney has already volunteered to create her bridal gown.

McCartney, 36, tells People magazine at her West Hollywood boutique cocktail party Tuesday, "I'm definitely doing her wedding dress."

But don't tell that to the 23-year-old actress just yet, because as the designer pointed out, "She doesn't know it yet."

Johansson has recently announced her engagement to actor Ryan Reynolds.

Meanwhile, another icon in the fashion industry conveyed his good wishes to the young "ballsy" actress.

Marc Jacobs told the press at Monday's Costume Institute Gala, "I'm really happy for her. She's a great girl. I just think Scarlett is great and I hope she is very, very happy. She's super funny. I love a smart, ballsy, New Yorker and that's what she is. I wish her the best."
