Las Vegas, NV (AHN - The Sugar Shane Mosley-Zab Judah match scheduled on May 31 in Las Vegas was cancelled Thursday after Judah injured his arm resulting from an accidental fall.

Judah sustained a severe cut on his right forearm following an accidental fall in the bathroom which required at least 50 stitches to close the wound. The accident would keep the former welterweight champion from the training gym for at least four weeks eventually canceling his comeback fight against Sugar Shane Mosley at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on May 31.

Mosley (44-5, 37 KOs), who is still smarting from a competitive unanimous decision loss to Miguel Cotto in Nov. 10, settled for a non-title bout with Judah after failing to land a rematch with WBA champion Cotto. On the other hand, Judah (36-5, 25 KO's), hasn't fought in Nevada since April 2006 following a loss via unanimous decision to Floyd Mayweather, Jr. which resulted into an altercation afterwards

Trying to build up their upcoming match-up, Judah taunted the 36-year-old former three-division champion during the Bernard Hopkins-Joe Calzaghe weigh-in last month by pushing out a wheelchair after wagering a bet of $100,000 on the fight. Earlier, Judah called for a pre-blood testing following Mosley's admission of inadvertently taking steroids before a 2003 fight.

In the 2003 fight against Mayweather, Judah was slapped with a $250,000 fine following a post fight altercation. His father and trainer Yoel Judah was likewise assessed a $100,000.
