Britney Spears Makes Surprise Appearance In Rock The Cradle

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - MTV's "Rock The Cradle" had one surprise appearance at the show's finale Thursday. Controversial Britney Spears showed up in the audience while the winner was being crowned.

Spears showed up at the final episode of the contest but not to perform. She stayed in the audience and probably cheered on the three finalists: Jess Blaze Snider (Dee Snider's son), Chloe Lattanzi (Olivia Newton-John's daughter), and Crosby Loggins (Kenny Loggin's son).

The pop star's former manager Larry Rudolph is one of the executive producers of the show as well as a judge. He is also most likely the reason why Spears showed up as the two had recently just made up after their falling out last year.

And as for the show's winner, Crosby won the competition in viewer voting. He took home $100,000 and a recording contract. Jess and Chloe came in at second at third respectively.
