May 12, 2008 1:01 a.m. EST Bill Lumpkin - AHN Editor Williamsburg, VA (AHN) -- Annika Sorenstam played like her old dominant self with a 5-under 66 on Sunday to win the Michelob Ultra Light Open with a tournament-record 19-under 265 on the way to a record-tying seven-stroke victory. The eight-time LPGA Player of the Year won her third event of the year in eight tournaments and also silenced a few critics with her new rivarlry with No. 1 player Lorena Ochoa. Christina Kim finished in a four-way tie for second with Allison Fouch, Jeong Jang and Karen Stupples. Said Sorenstam, "That's the way I used to play. That's about as good as I can hit my iron shots. Make a few more putts and get some distance on my drives and I'm going to tell you that's as good as I can play." It was Sorenstam's 72nd career LPGA victory. Added Jang, "She hit a perfect iron shot every single hole. Annika's back." Jang missed a one-foot putt on the final hole that would have left her in second by herself and cost her $60,000. Fouch shot a final-round 7-under 64 while Stupples had a 5-under 66 to get to 12-under for the tournament. Katherine Hull, who started the day tied for 21st, had a double-eagle on the par-5 seventh hole as she fired a 7-under 64 to finish sixth overall. Shi Hyun Ahn tied the course-record with a 63. She had nine birdies, eight pars and a bogey on her final hole.
