"The Hills" Star Audrina Patridge Lands A Film Role

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Lauren Conrad's best friend Audrina Patridge has landed herself a real scripted role. "The Hills" star is set to join the cast of "Into the Blue 2."

Patridge, 22, will play a beach beauty whose boyfriend spoils her rotten. Charles Winkler will direct and produce the MGM and Bluewater production sequel.

The reality TV series actress is the first from "The Hills" to land an acting role in a film.

Meanwhile, the MTV reality series was recently picked up for a fourth season, which is scheduled to premiere in August.

"Into The Blue" first starred Jessica Alba and Paul Walker in 2005.
